Description
One of the rarest beetles in the Palearctic. A real gem, a relic of ancient forests. The species is widely recognized as a symbol of nature’s protection among insects.
The Goldstreifiger was entered in the Polish Red Book of Animals in the CR category (critically endangered – a species critically endangered with extinction) and in the IUCN Red Book of Threatened Species in the EN category (endangered).
