Magick Artlion is born in 1986 in Chelmza, Poland.
From his first beginning Magick showed great interest in Art…
At the age of twelve Artlion is absorbed by Hip-Hop Culture, popular in the 90’s
Skateboard and Graffiti becomes his passion. Influenced by Hip Hop Culture, He did illustrations
on walls, skateboards and clothes. After high school graduation he attended Torun Nicolaus Copernicus
University in Toruń to study history. With bachelor degree in hand he opened his own and first Skateshop
in Chełmno.
Thirsty for knowledge he moved to UK.
2014 Mike moved to known Andalusia, southern of Spain.
Due to the large number of abandoned buildings in the south, painting passion took on another dimension.
Mike could paint as much as he always wanted.
In 2015, He returned to Poland and decides to stay with his family after his beloved father death.
That had an impact on Magick’s artistic career.
Recognised large-format illustrator, Andrzej Poprostu, invited Magick to participate on painting projects.
Andrzej took him into a completely different painting level. They performed in large number of artistic
orders. He acquired skills on large format painting. They created together a group “Plastyk Komando”
and are part of “BHP” crew.
Mural after mural , they began to be part of the Polish Landscape.
2017, Magick jumped into Spanish winters and painting summers with Andrzej Poprostu.
During an adventure in southern Andalusia, he met with Sacred Geometry. Since then, Mandalas
sprouts from his skills and tools .
June 2018 he took part of collective exhibition “Young and Inspired” in the BCS gallery in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
